Metalub is the only lubricant made in Costa Rica with the least environmental impact and with a quality superior to many market oils.We manufacture sustainable quality products, mixed and formulated with base oil obtained from the re-refined process in our Costa Rica plant, complying with the most demanding international quality standards on the market.
Note that the preferred option, the re-refined oil must meet the same strict standards of refining, composition and performance as virgin oil for use in automotive engines, heavy diesel and other internal combustion engines, hydraulic fluids andGear oils.
Extensive laboratory tests and field studies conclude that re-refined oil is equivalent to virgin oil: it exceeds all prescribed tests and, in some situations, even exceeds virgin oil.
