MetaLab offers rapid analysis services for transmission, hydraulic, coolant and fuel oils

At Metalab we offer fluid analysis services to make informed decisions; with fast, reliable data that will help you reduce operating costs, increase uptime, improve productivity, maximize equipment life and even help the environment.
WHY AN OIL ANALYSIS

Get data on what's happening in your engine. Analysis is a quick way to measure the condition of your engine by looking at the elements in the oil. Oil analysis results are interpreted on cars, trucks, airplanes, marine engines, motorcycles, industrial equipment and more. It can help you see if any problems are developing, if your oil is working well, and if you can run it longer, among other things.

Our goal is to work as a team with your maintenance professionals to make your assets more efficient, effective and in optimal condition. We offer standard and advanced level oil analysis programs for a multitude of applications in a variety of industries. In addition to these programs, we offer customized services for clients who have unique testing requirements.

Fast individual analysis service

At Metalab we offer a wide range of individual analyzes for oils, fluids and fuels..

Elemental Analysis: Establishes levels of wear metals, silicon, and additives in the oil. Also checks for coolant. ASTM D6595

Viscosities: at 100 and 40 degrees. Determines the oil grade. ASTM D445, ASTM D2270, ASTM D4052

Water: Water content %. Karl Fisher ASTM D6304 and ASTM E2412

Insolubles: Quantifies the percentage of solids present in the oil.

Flash Point: Temperature at which oil vapors ignite. When the flash is lower than normal, it indicates a contaminant. Also looks for moisture contamination. ASTM D92
